Texture Finishes
There are a variety of ceiling textures that I’m able to provide. The most common in the Twin Cities is Knockdown; it can be painted and it’s easy to clean.
Hand Trowel texture is a unique look I designed as a cross between Venetian Plaster and Southwestern Stucco.
I scrape off many popcorn ceilings and apply hand trowel texture before finishing with 2 coats of primer.
Smooth ceilings are always in style. They’re easy to clean, repair, and re-paint. A smooth ceiling will require about 50% more time to finish than a textured one.
Popcorn ceiling is a less expensive finish option that has better sound absorption qualities.
